Rivers Angels coach Edwin Okon has stated that the straight league format been employed for the current campaign in the Women Premier League will help produce better players for the national team.
Okon speaking in a chat with brila.net said the straight league format means more games for the players and more tests as against the previous abridge league formats where teams play fewer games.
“As soon as you play more games at this level you will be exposed to so many things and at that level, it will be a plus because you played more games and you’re fitter to play on the continent. “
