AFN President, Ibrahim Gusau has said that the Federation’s 2018 goal is to pursue an aggressive drive for talent discovery.
Nigeria will once again return to the Commonwealth Games this time in Australia’s Gold Coast but Athletics may not be a big prospect as it was in the past.
In order to bridge the widening gulf between the elite athletes and the new talents on the block, Gusau assured that the dearth of intermediate athletes will be salvage “to save the future” of the sport.
