First vice President of the NFF, Seyi Akinwumi believes Nigeria’s bid to reach the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations is as sure as the rising of the sun, with Gernot Rohr in charge of the Super Eagles.
Nigeria is drawn in Group E along with South Africa, Libya and Seychelles for the group stage qualifying rounds.
For the three-time African champions, reaching the 32nd edition of the continent’s biggest football showpiece will mean a subtle redemption after failing to qualify for successive editions since their 2013 triumph.
