Akwa United’s Olisa Ndah wants positive start to second stanza of the league

Akwa United defender Olisa Ndah hinted that the players are excited to end the first half of the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league on a good note.

Reflecting on how the players turned the season around, Ndah who is one of the most trusted players in the squad, said it was down to hard work and determination.

“Am really happy we ended high after such a bad start, but the turnaround did not really surprised me because we know our qualities. ”

“We also worked really hard work, because talents is not just enough and I’m happy it paid off, ”  He told brila.net in an exclusive Interview.

The National U23 and home-based Super Eagles defender added that he is confident the Promise Keepers will have a bright start when the league return from the mid-season break.

“Not exactly where we wanted to be but we thank God for where we are and hopefully, we can hit the ground running when the second half of the season gets underway,”  he told brila.net

Akwa United will kick off their second stanza with a home game against Sunshine Stars of Akure at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
