Alex Iwobi hails Eden Hazard as ‘LeBron James’ of the Premier League

Eden Hazard has been one of the stars of the Premier League this season and now Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has even described him as the LeBron James of English football.

James has been one of the stars of the NBA during his time at the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Meat, making his high-profile move from Cleveland to the LA Lakers in the summer.

James has been named the MVP in the league four times during his career and being one of the biggest names in the league since Kobe Bryant, while Hazard was named the PFA Player of the Year in 2015.

Iwobi was taking part in the quarter-final of the NBA2K19 Gaming Tournament and was asked which current Premier League player could be compared to LeBron James this season.

“I would say, Hazard,” Iwobi said. “He’s dominating and has a had a very good season so far and he’s always a top performer.”

Hazard started the season in sizzling form as he raced to seven goals in the Premier League, despite having no pre-season after the World Cup.
