Steven Gerrard says playing Lyon will be a very good challenge for Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and other players.
Aribo and Balogun are expected to be in action as the Gers will kick-start their 2022 Europa League campaign the French side at the Ibrox this evening.
Speaking at the post match conference, Gerrard said, he’s team will be facing a trong opposition and charged them. To rise to the occasion.
“Lyon has high-level players and is a big club with a highly experienced manager.
“We are under no illusion on how tough this game will be, and we have big respect for the team we will face tomorrow.
“This is a fantastic challenge and what a time to be part of this team, this is something that we all want to be part of.
