Legendary Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai has said he expects either Daniel Akpeyi or Dele Ajiboye to be dropped when the NFF announces the team’s final 23-man World Cup list.
On Monday the Nigeria Football Federation announced a 30-man provisional list with four goalkeepers.
Four goalies Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Daniel Akpeyi, Francis Uzoho and Dele Ajiboye were listed by the Eagles selectors.
Speaking during Brila FM’s show Popular side on Monday, the Two-time world cup veteran gave Ezenwa and Uzoho his vote of confidence.
‘In my opinion, looking at the list, it doesn’t present any major question marks.
‘Unfortunately only three goalkeepers will be selected for the world cup and I would opt for either Dele or Akpeyi to be dropped,’ Rufai said.
