Kwara United coach Abdullahi Biffo said he’s satisfied with the performance in the win against Enyimba on Wednesday.
The hosts recorded their seventh domestic league win over the CAF Confederation Cup campaigners in a rescheduled week 2 match in Ilorin.
A 1-0 win improved Kwara United’s result from their last two matches; Jigawa GS (0-0), Akwa United (1-1).
Speaking to the press after the game, Biffo said his side deserved the victory after the disappointing home draw against Akwa United last Sunday.
“My players were relaxed against Akwa United in our first home game and that was the reason they faced Enyimba will full strength and thanks to God for us to have gotten the three needed points,”Biffo explained.
Stephen Jude score the only goal of the match after connecting perfectly with a superb pass from Michael Ohanu.
The victory saw Kwara United win for the first time at home this season in the NPFL.
