Cameroon defeated favorites, Kenya in the African Women’s Volleyball Championship to claim their maiden title in front of her home fans in Yaoundé.
The Indomitable Lionesses stunned Kenya with a straight sets victory 25-22, 25-19, 29-27 denying the East African’s a fourth consecutive title at the Palais des Sports on Saturday.
Egypt earned the bronze medal after they beat Senegal 25-20, 25-19, 25-23.
Tunisia in the 5th place after they beat neighbours Algeria 3-1 on Saturday.
Nigeria finished the campaign in seventh position after a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-14) classification game win against Botswana.
