Nigeria goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme is creating awareness for Leukemia and also showed support to a 19-year-old footballer who was diagnosed with the disease.
Anthony Renton of Middlesbrough is already receiving treatment and on Monday when the club tweeted a story about the player, Ikeme retweeted the news.
The 30-year-old Nigeria himself is undergoing treatment for Leukemia and has shared messages of his progress on Twitter.
He tweeted “Still Happy Still Grateful ❤️” at the weekend; lifting the spirit of his fans alike.
