Chinese League now very competitive, says Ighalo

Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai’s forward, Odion Jude Ighalo has admitted that the Chinese Super League is now very difficult and Competitive.

In an interview on Brila FM, Ighalo stated that the league is no longer as easy as people who watch from afar thinks.

“As you can see the League is now very difficult and Competitive as the year goes by,” Ighalo told brila FM.

“You could see teams like Shanghai Shenhua, SIPG, Beijing now all in the race for the title”

Odion scored a brace over the weekend in Changchun Yatai’s victory against Shanghai SIPG 2-1 at home in a Chinese Super League game Sunday morning, thus taking his season’s haul to seven goals.

Speaking on his recent rain of goals having scored Four in the last matchday, Ighalo downplayed its effect but attributed it all to Hard work and God’s grace.

He said there were games he played even better but unable to find the back of the net, and there are also times his team played better without getting the needed points.

The former Watford striker is hopeful that his side keeps up with the momentum until Summer World Cup break.
