On Wednesday, Super Falcons Head Coach Thomas Dennerby was on hand to witness a Nigeria Women’s Premier Football League match in Lokoja.
Dennerby scouted the Confluence Queens vs Bayelsa Queens match which ended 2-0 in favor of the visitors.
The Coach hopes to build a solid Falcons team for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations after experiments in the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nation and friendly against France since his appointment.
Nigeria will play Gambia in the second round of the qualifiers in a two-legged tie in June.
The Lady Scorpions defeated Burkina Faso 5-3 on penalties after playing out a 3-3 aggregate result.
