Ebuehi, Okereke guide Venezia to first home win of the season

Tyronne Ebuehi and David Okereke were on parade for Venezia, in their Italian Serie A game against Fiorentina on Monday.

The two Super Eagles were impressive in the game as Venezia secured a 1-0 victory over the Viola at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo.

While Ebuehi, played the entire 90 minutes, Okereke came on in the 50th minute for his seventh appearance of the season .

The on loan forward from Club Brugge replaced Dennis Toerset Johansen who sustained an ankle injury.

Mattia Aramu’s 36th minute goal was enough to seal the win for Venezia. The forward tap home from close range, following a few delightful pass from Thomas Henry.

It was Venezia’s first home win of the season and it was enough to take them to 15th on the log with eight points from eight games.
