Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong was involved in Watford win over Derby County at Vicarage Road on Friday.
It was a debut game for Ekong since his move to the English Championship side Watford FC, and it was a memorable night for him.
Ekong who skipped Super Eagles last friendly against Tunisia, started the game for the Hornets and lasted for 70th minutes before he was substituted due to suspected injury.
Jao Pedro scored the winning goal for Watford six minutes after Ekong was substituted from the match.
The former Udinese defender will be hoping to back in the squad on time for the next game against Blackburn Rovers.
The win took Watford to fifth on the table with 10 points, with three wins, a draw, and a defeat.
