Emmanuel Dennis enters Watford’s history book

Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis found the back of the net for Watford in their 3-10 victory over Norwich City this Saturday.

Dennis scored the goals inside the opening 17th minutes. The 23-year-old connected with a cross from his teammate Kiko, and he finished emphatically beyond the goalkeeper.

Dennis has now been involved in three goals (two goals and one assist) in four Premier League game for the Hornets this season.

Dennis who was voted Watford’s Player of the Month for August last week, became the second player after Étienne Capoue to score Watford’s first home and away goals in a Premier League campaign.

Capoue achieved the feat in the 2016/2017 season, but Dennis can better the record if he score in their next home game.

Norwich City equalised in the 37th minute, no thanks to beautiful finish from their talisman Teemo Pukki.

The equalizer woke Watford up in the second half and they dominated the match from there.

Two goals from Senegalese forward, Ismaila Sarr gave the Hornet the three points and their second win of the season.

Meanwhile Dennis compatriots, William Troost-Ekong and Oghenekaro Etebo also featured in the game.

Ekong played every minute of the match, while Etebo came on as late substitute in the second half.
