Former Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze has stressed the importance of the Super Eagles’ June Friendlies ahead the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking earlier today on Brila FM’s breakfast show, the former PAOK Saloniki of Greece left-back said the Eagles will likely show their exact world Cup abilities during the two friendlies.
According to Udeze, the England and Czech Friendly matches will go a very long way in showing the capacity of the squad in time before the World Cup.
The Former West Bromwich Albion defender believes the games will be the proper inkling of how the Super Eagles will perform in Russia.
Udeze was a member of the Super Eagles at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan.
The Super Eagles are in the 2018 World Cup Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
