Enyimba striker Victor Mbaoma has stated that the People’s Elephant is pleased and happy with the outcome of Monday’s CAF Confederation cup group stage draws despite been handed tricky oppositions in Algeria’s Entif Setif, South Africa’s Orlando Pirates, and Libya’s Ahly Benghazi.
Mbaoma speaking in a chat with brila.net said the draws have given the team an opportunity to express themselves and prove that they are also a big team on the continent and as such strike no fear to the People’s Elephant.
“It’s actually a very good thing for us because it will help us as players and as a team so we are very much happy and we hope for the best that we will as well scale through. We are a big team too so it doesn’t strike fear. We are very hopeful, when we saw it we were very happy because it’s a chance to express ourselves.
