Enyimba FC striker Victor Mbaoma has stated that the People’s Elephants won’t underrate their first-round CAF Confederation cup opponent Diambars of Senegal.
Diambars secured qualification to the next round after a 3-0 win over Guinea’s Wakriya in a single-legged game decided in Senegal with no return leg due to the unrest in Guinea.
Mbaoma speaking in a chat with brila.net said the People’s Elephants are aware of the status of the Senegalese side and won’t take the team for granted especially considering the rivalry that also exists between Senegal and Nigeria.
