Etebo denies Galatasaray exit reports

Super Eagles Midfielder Etebo Oghenekaro has denied reports linking him with a quick return to Stoke City in January.

 

The former Las Palmas midfielder says the most important thing presently is to keep working hard in order to help his Turkish Club, Galatasaray achieve their objectives in the Turkish Super Lig.

 

Reports from some section of the media claimed that Galatasaray is ready to cut short his stay at the club and allow him to return to his parent club Stoke City in January.

 

The reports also alleged that the CD Fereinse man is not happy with life in Turkey, since he joined on a season-long loan six months ago, however, according to Mr. Eddie Iseri Ogbemudia of Myron TopClass Sport Outfits, the agency that manages the image rights of the player, Etebo is only focused on playing football regularly.

 

Mr. Eddie Iseri Ogbemudia said the 24-year-old is settled at the club and has never fallen out with coach Fathi Terim.

 

The Rio 2016 Bronze medal winner was a second-half substitute in Galatasaray’s 3-0 win over Hatayspor on Saturday, replacing Emre Kilinc.
