Etebo happy to score first Stoke City goal

Nigeria international, Oghenekaro Etebo is delighted for scoring his first goal for Stoke City in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in English Championship game.

 

The Super Eagles midfielder gave the Potters the lead in the 15th minute before former Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe wrapped up the game in the 74th minute.

 

“Great performance 🙌 Feels great to get my 1st goal for potters🔴⚪️ heads up and up to the next ☝️,” Etebo tweeted.

 

Etebo who joined  Stoke City from Portuguese club CD Feirense last summer finally scored for the former premier league side after 25 appearances for the club in the Championship.

 

The win is Stoke City’s first victory since mid-January when they narrowly defeated Leeds United 2-1 and they are now 16th position on the log with 44 points from 35 matches.
