Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi is a major doubt for his club, FC Porto league clash with Vitoria Guimaraee on Thursday.
FC Porto manager Sergio Conceicao confirmed the news to the press in Wednesday’s afternoon News conference.
Zaidu was substituted in FC Porto 1-0 away win against Nacional on Sunday and the manager has now confirmed he hasn’t been able to shake off the injury.
“Zaidu will be very difficult to be available tomorrow. Otávio too, but we still have a few hours until the game and we’ll see” Conceicao told a news conference on Wednesday.
The former Santa Clara full-back is an integral part of the Porto side this season, playing 23 league matches and all their champions league matches.
The 23-year-old has also scored twice in all competitions for the Portuguese giants who are currently second on the league table with 63 points from 27 games.
