Femi Ajayi prioritizes Rangers success ahead of individual glory

Forward Femi Ajayi says his priority is to help Rangers International achieve their targets next season, rather than seeking individual glories.

The 24-year-old signed for the Flying Antelopes from Dakkada FC in the current transfer window ahead of the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league.

The enterprising forward had the opportunity to train with his new teammates for the first time on Thursday after Rangers resumed training for the forthcoming campaign.

The Benin Republic international says he’s already looking to the new campaign and he’s committed to helping the team achieving a double.

“I’m in Rangers to contribute my efforts towards achieving a double at the end of the season 2020/2021.” He told Rangers official Twitter handle.

The former Crown of Oshogbo forward was the arrowhead of the Dakkada team last season, scoring important goals to help the modest side retained their league status.

Ajayi however insisted that his first target for next season is to make sure Rangers enjoy a successful campaign.

“For me, helping the team succeed is my first target while increasing my goals tally for the season is next,” – Femi Ajayi concluded.
