Former Chelsea and Bayern Munich Manager Carlo Ancelotti is now set to become the new Italy boss amid speculation of managing Arsenal according to reports.
The Italian FA is understood to have asked Ancelotti to take over the vacant national team job after the Azzurri’s failed to qualify for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The Former Chelsea boss, however, is yet to agree on personal terms but he looks set to be offered £5m-a-year to transform his national side after they missed out on the World Cup.
Other Reports in the media also suggest he has been offered a two-year deal to help bring success back the glory days to their national side.
Ancelotti has also been touted as the replacement for outgoing Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger in the past few days.
