Nigeria professional football league side Kwara United have signed former Kano Pillars striker Junior Lokosa ahead of next season.
The deal was announced on Monday, October 18th 2022 and the striker put pen to paper for one year contract with the Harmony Boys.
Lokosa has been without a club since he was released by Tanzanian giant’s Simba SC and he’s expected to relaunch his career with Kwara United.
Recalled the petit striker netted 19goals to emerge the 2017/2018 Nigeria professional football league highest goal scorer with Kano Pillars.
The form earned him a place in Super Eagles preliminary squad for FIFA World Cup in 2018, but he failed to make the final 23 to the tournament.
He won the CAF Champions League with Espérance Sportive de Tunis, but was later released six months into his two-and-a-half-year contract, no thanks to reoccurring injury.
