Former Sprint queen, Mary Onyali has denied claims any doping scandal during her career cost her a place in the recent AFN election.
Onyali dominated the sprints in Africa winning gold in the 100 meters at four editions of the African Games from 1987 through 2003.
Recently, the 49-year-old vied for a position on the board of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria but lost amid claims a checkered past had cost her support among the voting delegates.
In her response to the allegations, Onyali execrated the reports and maintains nothing of such surfaced during the June 13 elections in Abuja.
