We are now into the second half of the football season in Europe where there is so much to play for in the respective domestic league and cup competitions.
If you like to place a bet on the action on the field, here are four tips which can hopefully help you make a profit at the end of the campaign.
Liverpool To Win The Champions League (4/1)
Liverpool have been the standout team in England this season where they look on course for their first-ever Premier League success.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have yet to taste defeat in the league and, with one hand on the title, they will be able to concentrate on defending their Champions League crown later this season where they are a great bet at 4/1 to do so.
Liverpool have just Manchester City ahead of them in the outright market for the premier European competition, but preference must be given with the holders.
Jamie Vardy To Be Top Premier League Goalscorer (1/1)
At the age of 32, Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy is playing the best football of his career. The Foxes forward has netted 17 times so far this season in the Premier League where he tops the standings.
The former England international, who retired from international football after the 2018 World Cup, has Premier League betting odds of 1/1 to be the top scorer in the league at the end of the campaign. He is already four goals clear of the pack and is unlikely to be caught from his position.
Inter Milan To Win Serie A (13/5)
Since former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte took over at Inter Milan back in the summer, the 18-time Italian champions have had a huge renaissance.
The Milan club are serious contenders for the Serie A title this season where they will be looking to end Juventus’ dominance in Italy.
Conte did some smart business in the summer transfer window. He ensured he went into his opening season with the club with an excellent squad of players who were good enough to make a challenge for the title.
Inter are locked at the top of the Serie A table on 42 points during the winter break and, at 13/5 in the outright market for the Scudetto, Conte’s side are excellent value in this two-horse race.
Arsenal To Win Europa League (7/1)
Given where they are positioned in the current Premier League table, Arsenal’s best chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season will come in the Europa League, where they will need to win the competition.
Mikel Arteta, who was appointed as their new manager last month, has given the Gunners a big lift. They had an excellent 2-0 victory over Manchester United to begin the new year which reflects that.
Arteta is sure to take the Europa League very seriously, as it also the opportunity to win some major European honours, something the fans of the North London club will appreciate.
Arsenal are one of the biggest names in the Europa League this season and stand out at 7/1 in the betting.
Good luck and enjoy what is sure to be an exhilarating end to the football season in Europe.
