Young goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has expressed a cautious confidence about his chances to make the Super Eagles squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Uzoho, who plays for Segunda B side Real Club Deportivo Fabril, made his international debut as a substitute in a friendly against Argentina.
Excited with the prospect of getting a world cup call up, the 19-year-old goalie told Anthony Bekederemo [Brila FM] that he hopes to impress the Eagles Coaches with his performance for his club.
Thus far the goalie, who says he idolizes Nigerian legend Vincent Enyeama and Dutch great Edwin van der Sar, has made 9 appearances for the lower Deportivo La Coruna reserves this season.
