Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has confirmed that Victor Osimhen is out of his side Europa league clash with HNK Rijeka on Thursday.
Osimhen will miss the match due to his red card he received in Napoli’s last game against Real Sociedad and he’s expected to serve one match suspension.
The Nigeria international came on as a substitute in the match day 2 against Spanish La Liga side, had a goal disallowed, before he was sent off in that added time for second bookable offense.
The team manager, Gennaro Gattuso, confirmed on Wednesday that his record signing will now serve his suspension and won’t travel with the team.
“Victor Osimhen is not traveling with the team as he picked up a red card against Real Sociedad last week and he is suspended for Thursday’s clash,” he said.
