Rangers Manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Leon Balogun could miss their clash with Livingston on Wednesday.
Balogun, who has been playing in the right back position in recent matches, may not feature in the midweek fixture due to injury.
The Nigerian was drafted to the right back as cover up for first choice Scott Tavernier, who is expected to be out of action for at least three weeks after picking up an injury in their Europa league game with Royal Antwerp.
Speaking ahead of the trip to Livingston, Gerrard said, “Leon Balogun is struggling for tomorrow he’s got a niggle in the quad muscle that he came off the game with, he’s a big doubt for tomorrow for sure.”
Should the former Brighton and Hove Albion man fail to recover from the injury, Gerrard could be forced to play Nathan Patterson
