Anderlecht Striker, Henry Onyekuru is feeling positive ahead of this weekend’s Belgian Super Cup and is eyeing up his “first professional final and medal.”
The Nigeria International, who penned a five-year deal for English Premier League side, Everton was sent on loan to Belgian Champions, Anderlecht.
Sunday’s Super Cup could be the 20-year-old’s first competitive match in the colors of Anderlecht.
In a chat with brila.net , Onyekuru said he hopes to carry his goal scoring form for the club into Sunday’s final against Cup winners, Zulte-Waregem.
The former KAS Eupen star man, who scored 22 goals last season, was the subject of several transfer rumors this summer linking him to some premier league clubs.
Onyekuru disclosed that he initially had medicals with PSG before the eventually penning the five-year deal with Ronald Koeman’s Everton worth €6.8million.
