Hervé Renard lined up as Falcons Head Coach

The journeyman is on the move again! the phrase is as cliche as the act and no man fits that description like Hervé Renard.

Renard, who recently led Morocco to the AFCON 2019, ended his three-year employment with the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football and is already on the move.

Per GFFN, [H/T] Mohamed Toubache-TER, Hervé Renard has reportedly become the new manager of Saudi Arabia.

The French football online media reported that on Thursday, the 50 year-old agreed to become Coach of The Green Falcons.

“Just days after leaving his post as the head of the Moroccan national team following a disappointing early knockout round AFCON exit, the individual in question is understood to have yesterday signed a deal to become the new manager of the Saudi Arabian national team!”

In the last 8 years the French man has found employment with 6 different teams including the Zambia and Ivory Coast national teams with whom he won AFCON titles.

However, the Saudi FF are yet to confirm Renard’s appointment officially.

The Falcons’ last official game was a 3-2 victory over Equatorial Guinea on March 2 where re-hired Al Ahli Coach, Youssef Anbar took temporary charge of the team.
