Ibrahim Musa laments possible COVID19 effect on Pillars continental race

Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim Musa has lamented the possible damages that the current restriction on football activities could have on his side’s continental competition.

In a chat with brila.net the veteran coach stated that Pillars have been unable to prepare for their upcoming campaigns on the continent owing to the ban on domestic football.
“I’m still appealing to our federation and the Federal government, because of this corona issue to allow the teams, all Nigerian teams to start training. Especially these teams that qualified for the continent,”
“Because it’s not an excuse to CAF, and they will not wait for any team in Nigeria to say they are not ready. So, CAF will continue their program.
“We are not training, we are not in the competition, we’re not doing anything, no friendlies so, if we get the programme for our teams which will participate in the Cup and the Champions League, it will give us problem because we are not doing anything,” he stated.
