Super Falcons midfielder Osarenoma Igbinovia has stated that the Nigeria women national team won’t dare try to take their Olympic qualifier opponent CIV for granted after having twice failed to qualify for the last two editions of the Olympics.
The Bayelsa Queens player says the task before the team is big and hence the team cannot afford to toy with the opposition. She added that Ivory coast is a good team and that the Falcons will scale through the Ivorian hurdle.
“We just have to because it has been long that we went to the Olympics even the last time we lost to Equatorial Guinea so we don’t need anything losing right now.
“We just need to qualify, the task ahead of us is very tough because Ivory coast is a good team and we won’t take them for granted.”
