Arsenal FC returned to winning ways in the premier league on Sunday with a 3-0 victory against Watford and none could have been happier than – not Petr Cech – Alex Iwobi.
Iwobi returned to the Arsenal starting line up after he was rested for the Europa League round of 16 match against AC Milan at the San Siro.
The Europa League first-leg win was Arsenal’s first in five matches and they followed up with Sunday’s victory.
Arsenal were 2-0 up when Alex Iwobi was replaced to a standing ovation from the Emirates crowd.
Alex Iwobi, 21, shared a message on his twitter thread after the victory.
