Assistant coach of Nigeria’s U20 national team Abubakar Bala has stated that he has his focus now fully on the U20 AFCON which starts this weekend as the team gets set for weekend’s owner against the Burundi U20 national team.
Bala speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said he has his Kwara united side taken care off and believes in the ability of his assistant to do a good job while he is away on international duty.
Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation Dr. Mohammed Sanusi has informed that the Nigeria U17 national team have had their program approved and should hit camp in the coming days towards the weekend as the team begins the journey to represent Nigeria competitively at the U17 AFCON.
Sanusi speaking in a chat with www.brila.net informed that as part of the Nigeria Football Federation’s plan to have the U17 national team adequately prepared, the football Federation have also secured Nigeria’s participation at an 8 nation tourney slated for Japan.
The Nigeria U17 national team are among the 7 qualified teams that will join host nation Tanzania in the upcoming CAF Africa U17 AFCON.
