Kwara United not giving up on Jigawa Golden Stars striker Stone

2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league leaders Kwara United are not given chase on striker Samuel Stones of Jigawa Golden Stars.

The coach of the Harmony Boys Abdullahi Biffo want to reduce the burden on Stephen Jude and Michael Ohanu, so Samuel Stone was identified as the right player to help him them upfront.

The attacker signed for Jigawa Golden Stars on loan from Kano Pillars at the beginning of the season and report claimed that Kwara United are ready to acquire his service on full-term basis.

Stone caught the attention of the Harmony Boys management and coaches following his impressive performances in the first stanza of the league where he scored five goals.

Jigawa Golden Stars sees the youngster as one of the players who can help them retain their premier league status and are ready to hold on to him, for at least until the end of the season.

It’s now understood that Kwara United are not willing to give up their interest in the striker and have reportedly opened up negotiations with his representatives.

The NPFL mid-season Transfer Window will close on April 15 and Kwara United is hoping to get the deal done on time.

Meanwhile, Wikki Tourists, Heartland, and Lobi Stars have also expressed interest in the forward.
