Former Super Eagles striker and ex-international, Stephen Ayodele Makinwa has predicted an easy win for the Super Eagles ahead of tomorrow’s dead rubber AFCON qualifier against the Pirates of Seychelles in Asaba tomorrow.
Nigeria are overwhelming favourites to defeat their opponents, considering the gap in quality between both sides, even as Seychelles are bottom of the group with a single point.
Seychelles have been talking of springing surprises come on Friday in Asaba, but speaking with www.brila.net, the former Atlanta, Lazio, and Palermo of Italy hitman stated that it would be an easy win for the Eagles.
“It’s going to be an easy match for Nigeria because of the quality in the team, we are far better and there is no cause for alarm.
I can’t say that against another African team, but if it is against Seychelles, then definitely we are far better…I expect nothing but victory against them when we play them on Friday”.
After the AFCON 2019 clash with Seychelles, Super Eagles are to also play Pharaohs of Egypt four days later in an international friendly on Tuesday, March 25 as part of the team’s preparations for the finals.
