MFM’s Kabir Adeniji Delighted With Strike In South West Derby

First half strike from MFM FC Striker, Adewole Kabiru Adeniji opened the scoring in Wednesday’s south west derby against Sunshine Stars FC before Micheal Ohanu added gloss to the result with a second half strike.

The lanky striker who scored his fourth goal in his seventh game in the 2019 Nigeria Professional Football League Season was delighted with the quality of the strike but vowed to be more ruthless in front of goal.

“I am very happy to score a goal as beautiful as that because strikes like that doesn’t come regularly.”

“Playing regularly in the NPFL gives me joy and I cannot thank Coach Camara (Fidelis Ilechukwu) and the other coaches enough for the opportunity.”

Kabiru who now has four goals and two assists in seven NPFL games concluded by stating his disappointment at missing a sitter late on but vowed to be more ruthless in subsequent matches as he looks to push for a place in the Imama Amapakabo tutored Nigeria U-23 setup.
