Terem Moffi was on target as Lorient came from behind to beat Ligue 2 outfit Paris FC 2-1 in a round 64 French Cup tie.
Paris FC took the lead just 13 minutes into the game through Moustapha Name, but Lorient equalized in the 71st minute, thanks to Yoane Wissa’s penalty.
Moffi, who has scored six league goals for the club this term, netted the winning goal in the 83rd minute to send his side to the next round.
It was Nigerian’s seventh goal in 18 appearances in all competitions for Lorient this season.
The goal could further strengthen his chances of earning a debut call up to the Super Eagles for next month’s Africa cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
