Ndidi and Iheanacho failed to impress as Man City beat Leicester at home

Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were involved in Leicester City’s premier match against Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

 

The duo was on from the start but failed to rescue the Foxes as Manchester City departed with a 2-0 win to edge closer to the title.

 

Iheanacho, went into the has match against his former side with a record of five goals in the last three premier league games, but failed to get a shot on target against Manchester City and was replaced by Mark Albrighton in the 72nd minute.

 

Ndidi on his part also had a game to forget as he was dominated by Kevin De Bruyne who took over the entire midfield.

 

The Nigerian powerhouse made only four ball recovery in the match, ten less than De Bruyne who made fourteen.

 

Ndidi was substituted seven minutes from time as Mendy was sent on by Coach Brenda Rodgers.

 

Manchester City took the lead through Benjamin Mendy two minutes before the hour mark and they wrapped up the win in the 74th minute through Gabriel Jesus.
