Super Eagles Line-up vs Serbia: Onazi return, Ighalo benched

The Nigeria Super Eagles’ possible Line up for today’s International Friendly Match with the Serbia National football team at the Hive Stadium, London has been revealed.

Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has handed Francis Uzoho his second start and he will start ahead of CHAN Eagles Captain goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Tyronne Ebuehi will start ahead of injured Shehu Abdullahi for the first time since the Corsica friendly, Troost Ekong and Leon Balogun will continue their ‘Oyinbo Wall’ partnership while Brain Idowu was picked ahead of Ola Aina and Elderson Echiejile.

The Amkar Perm defender, Idowu will be starting his second game consecutively.

Vice Captain Onazi makes a return to the lineup after he started from the bench against Poland, Wilfred Ndidi and Joel Obi keep their spots in the line-up.

The three-man Super Eagles attack has got an interesting decision with Ahmed Musa preferred to start ahead of Odion Ighalo while Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses retain their places respectively.

The game will kickoff 8 pm Nigerian time on Tuesday.
