Nigerian player, Imoh Ezekiel will take a ₦1.2B wage cut to join Turkish side, Konyaspor from Qatari club Al-Arabi according to his agent.
Ezekiel, who won Olympic bronze with Nigeria at the Rio Olympic Games, joined Al-Arabi from Standard Liège in 2014.
The 23-year-old has his heart set on returning to Europe again after two loan spells with Standard Liège and Anderlecht between 2015 and 2016.

As quoted by Akeem Busari and Babatunde Abidoye for owngoalnigeria, the player’s representative, Gafar Liameed said, “we were careful not to be consumed by the huge sum of money readily available to him in Qatar.”
“Imoh is a top quality player who should be playing his football week in and out in a top and very competitive league.
” Truly, it wasn’t an easy decision for him to make when I advised him to move on to a more competitive league and lose as much as ₦1.2B in reduced wages,” he disclosed.
