Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria National League Emmanuel Adesanya has expressed delight at finally getting the Nation’s second-tier league underway following the commencement of the 2021 N N L season across various centers in the Federation since December 2019 when matches at this level was last played.
Adesanya speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that it is indeed a big relief as well as exciting to everyone and all stakeholders at this level of league football in Nigeria after such a long period of absence and a number of setbacks encountered along the way before the final commencement of the Nigeria National League.
“After series of setbacks, it has come and it has come so it’s real now and every group, everybody is happy where they recorded about 6 away draws so it’s a good thing, It is true and we are happy we have started. They should keep praying for us and we have placed our foot on the pedal, there is no going back again.”
