NNL Super 8 tickets open to all – Agoye

Coach of Nigeria National League side Shooting stars sports club Edith Agoye has stated that the tickets to make the Super 8 which is the first task before all teams in the Nigeria National league remains very open to all teams in the division notwithstanding bright starts to the season by his team and some few others.

Agoye speaking in a chat with brila.net after his Shooting stars side defeated Go Round FC 2-1 in Ibadan to maintain her 100 percent start to the NNL season said nothing is decided yet as regards picking the tickets to the Super 8. He also added that results elsewhere has shown that teams can pick points anywhere.

“The NNL is very open for any team to get a qualification to the Super 8, recently we’ve been getting wins away from all the groups of the NNL which is something that doesn’t happen more often. If you’re good enough you can go to away games and win your games, if you’re not good enough you get beaten at home. The NNL is very open and it’s been very interesting so far.”

The top two teams from each Nigeria National League group A1, A2, B1, and B2 will qualify to contest in the season-ending Super 8 to determine the final four teams that will qualify for the Nigeria Professional Football League.
