Rivers Hoopers coach Odaudu Ogoh has lamented the year 2020 and basketball for home-based players coupled with the postponement of the highly-anticipated inaugural edition of the Basketball Africa League which would have offered few of the best in the local league a chance to showcase themselves on the continent.
Ogoh speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed the effects of this on the adverse effects this will have on the national team chances of the Nigerian-based players as well as the missed opportunities which been active and been visible would have handed out to a number of these players.
He added that no specific date was given for the basketball Africa League although expected to now start next year.
