Minnesota Timberwolves and Nigerian player Josh Okogie has expressed delight after making the final world cup roster with Nigeria ahead of the fast-approaching world cup which starts this weekend in China.
Okogie who will be attending his first major tournament with Nigeria speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said he has given his all in training so far and also getting to know the team and his teammates well.
He further expressed that he strongly thinks Nigeria has what it takes to do well at the world cup in China.
“First of all it’s a blessing, I just thank God for giving me the opportunity to be here making it to the finals and it’s been a fun ride so far with the team.
I know I have done all I can, show up every day and play my heart out so we are learning each other and I think we have a good chance of doing well in the world cup.”
