Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is already looking forward to a successful outing with the Super Eagles in Cameroon.
The Sparta Rotterdam shot-stopper is confident the Super Eagles can go all the way and win the African Cup of Nations next year.
The Super Eagles are currently ranked as the fifth best team on the continent and they are one of the favorites for the top crown.
The Eagles will begin their campaign at 2021 AFCON against the Pharaohs of Egypt on January 11, and then Guinea-Bissau and Sudan few days later.
“We are going to the Africa Cup to win the tournament,” Okoye toldDutch media outfit Rijnmond, as per FcUpdate.
“Nigeria is a great football country, and we have a good team. Let me return to Rotterdam with a prize.”.
The Super Eagles are among the most successful teams in the history of the tournament — they have won it on three occasions.
