Omeruo leaves Chelsea after 7 years, joins CD Leganes on a permanent deal

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has agreed to the terms of a 5 year deal with Leganes.
It would be recalled that the 25 year old joined Chelsea in 2012 and the 7 year relationship with the London club side has finally come to an end.

 

Kenneth Omeruo will start a new life in Spain after both teams finalize on the terms.

The Leganes side coughed out a whopping 5 million pounds for the services of Kenneth Omeruo.

With this deal, Kenneth Omeruo has become the third most expensive defender from the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

 

Taribo West it could be recalled was the first, followed by Joseph Yobo and now Kenneth Omeruo has joined the league of most expensive defender in terms of transfer deal.

 

The 25 year old is expected to leave the country anytime soon to Spain with a contract that will see him there till summer of 2024.
