Fulham Manager Scott Parker says he’s proud of players including Ademola Lookman, Ola Aina and Tosin Adarabioyo despite the defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday.
Parker saw his team suffer 2 – 1 to the premier league leaders at Craven Cottage, despite scoring first.
Lookman gave the Cottagers the lead five minutes after kick off, Ola Aina and Tosin Adarabioyo also played the entire minutes of the game.
Manchester United fought back and got goals through Edison Cavani & Paul Pogba to take all the points.
Speaking after the game, Parker said his side need to ‘get better’ at taking their chances, despite being ‘proud’ of their performance in Wednesday’s defeat.
“I’m both proud and frustrated, and also disappointed. We managed to get or noses in front, a mistake and then a 35-yard screamer from a world-class player has decided the game.
“We haven’t had enough over the course of the last few games. That’s an area where we need to get better and we will do that,” He said.
Fulham will be hoping for a positive respond when they hots Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
