Enugu Rangers are interested in the service of Abdul Maikaba ahead of the forthcoming 2021/2022 season of the Nigeria professional football league.
Rangers are searching for a successor for Head Coach Salisu Yusuf, who is expected to return to former Club Kano Pillars.
According to the report, the management of the Flying Antelopes have held talks with the former Plateau United coach regarding the vacant role.
Maikaba left Plateau United at the end of last season and he’s open to a new challenge.
It is understood that, Rangers offered Maikaba a two-year deal, but a final agreement has not been reached.
Meanwhile, current Akwa United boss Kennedy Boboye is also rumored to be interested in the job and has been interviewed.
